NYCMBL Player of the Week

Antonio Cardona (3b, NY Rainmakers)

The surging NY Rainmakers swept the NY Pirates on May 18, and third baseman Antonio Cardona was certainly a difference-maker in the twinbill. Cardona went 4-for-8 over the course of two games, driving in four runs in the process. Cardona also picked up his hits in big spots, as he managed to plate go-ahead runs in both games that eventually led to two Rainmakers' wins. 

Cardona, who also serves as the Rainmakers manager, has piloted his team to seven wins in the last 10 ballgames. The Rainmakers are currently 7-3 and sitting in third place in the Brooklyn/Queens division.
